Dominique Dauwe

Born in Belgium, Dominique Dauwe started modeling while studying Piano at The Jazz Studio, Antwerp, Belgium. Eventually landing roles in TV commercials, he discovered his love for acting, making the move to London to further his career.

Volunteering his time to music programs in London inner city schools, he was introduced to Special Needs Education. Here his career path took a different direction.

Through a teaching colleague, he met the people at Jabberwocky, a Non-Profit for people with disabilities on Martha's Vineyard, MA.

After years of volunteering at an off-shoot, The Cheshire Project in Venice, CA he eventually became part of Zeno Mountain Farm in Lincoln, VT where after 15 years he picked up acting again, encouraged by actor and director friends also volunteering at Zeno Mountain Farm, the subject of the Documentary by Michael Barnett, Becoming Bulletproof (2014).

Committing to Los Angeles, he quickly landed parts in TV and film. Not too long after, he started producing, as well as scoring projects and established himself as a character actor often portraying the antagonist.

He is known for his roles in Drowning (2019), with Mira Sorvino and Gil Bellows, A Dark Foe with Selma Blair and Graham Greene (2018), Canaries with Robert Pugh (2017), and as exec. producer and musician/engineer on the soundtrack of Ready To Ride: A Musical Homecoming. with Maggie Gyllenhaal, Peter Sarsgaard and Benjamin Pratt (2019).
