Prisca Kim was born in Koreatown, Los Angeles.
After graduating with a political science degree at the University of California - Santa Barbara, she backpacked and worked aboard for six years, where she re-discovered her dream of acting.
She moved back to Los Angeles and studied at the Theatre Academy of Los Angeles City College.
